Bulgarian Lesson and Dance
So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel - because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth. - Genesis 11:8-9
The first full day in Bulgaria, we attend a worship service near Stara Zagora. First we had a English/Bulgarian lesson with some teenagers from the town. We were broken up into four groups. My group with Peggy and Jamie was the best :) The two girls and guys were the sweetest and very patient with us. But wow - my Bulgarian stinks and their English is so good! Mental note to learn some Bulgarian before next year. I kept trying to communicate in Spanish for some reason. I know more Spanish than I realized.

After the worship service, several children asked to perform a dance for us. They were amazing! They performed three or four dances to Bulgarian music and did such a good job. One of the first honors that we felt. We were there to serve, but were being served.
